Queen's Health System Manager, QCIPN Ntwk Dev & Contract - MSSP ACO (Call-In, Varied Shifts) in Honolulu, Hawaii

RESPONSIBILITIES

I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In partnership with the Director of QCIPN, oversees the network development, contracting, panel management and compliance activities of the Queen’s Clinically Integrated Physician Network (QCIPN) including the Akoakoa Physician Organization (PO) and the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP).

• Responsible for ensuring contractual deadlines are visible to other QCIPN team members and completed by the appropriate team member.

• Develops strategic initiatives for the QCIPN, including employed and community-based practices.

• Serves as the main point of contact for payers related to QCIPN contracts.

• Oversees financial analysis of contract performance and the tracking of payments received for the department.

II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.

• Continuous: sitting

• Occasional: walking, standing, stooping/bending, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, lifting and carrying usual weight of 1 pound up to 5 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare or related field.

• Master’s degree in public health, business administration or healthcare administration highly preferred.

B. EXPERIENCE:

• Five (5) years of related administrative or clinic practice management experience demonstrating competence in applying general operational practices, personnel practices, accounting and budgeting principles, and coordination of administrative functions, preferably in physician group practice or independent physician association.

• Two (2) years supervisory/leadership experience.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to independently prioritize and execute tasks while maintaining leadership’s expectations and standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and work with others at all levels within the organization.

• Prior experience with physician organizations preferred.

• Prior experience with population health management preferred.
