The Revenue Integrity department ensures that Revenue Cycle staff and activity are in compliance with applicable State and Federal laws, regulations and organizational policies. It achieves this by collaborating with Revenue Cycle Task Force committees and processes for Hospital, Physician, Pharmacy, Pacific Islanders, Worker compensation, and direct oversight and management of the Billing, Charge Description Management, Coding, Admissions and Financial Service functions.

As the Revenue Cycle Compliance Analyst, you will help to uphold Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s administrative and fiscal excellence within the Revenue Cycle department by providing expertise to assist and educate appropriate staff on charging and coding standards, ensuring data integrity and the accuracy of charging practices. You will research and analyze coding, revenue and billing to ensure compliance with all payor requirements; as well as develop and maintain policies to facilitate a better understanding of government regulations related to coding and billing. We are looking for someone with outstanding organizational and analytical skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Five (5) years business operations experience in a health care setting in a role of progressively greater scope and responsibility, to include training staff and physicians on charging and documentation. Demonstrated familiarity with health insurance requirements and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Coder-Hospital (CPC-H) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS). Project management, workflow process management and information systems master file maintenance experience.
