Credit Collections Representative Join a leading wholesale beauty supply distributor in Suffolk County, where you can delve into the intricacies of the beauty supplies industry. We're seeking a motivated Collections Representative with excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills to enhance our dynamic Collections Department.

Job Summary: As a Credit Collections Agent, you will manage the recovery of overdue accounts and assist customers during the initial stages of the credit application process.

salary: $52,000 - $60,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Associate

Responsibilities

• Contact account holders to secure payment on overdue accounts, adhering to communication protocols.

• Regularly review and update account statuses according to established guidelines.

• Document promises of payment and maintain detailed notes on account interactions, scheduling follow-ups as needed.

• Process credit applications and gather additional required information.

• Independently verify credit references using provided references or through a credit reporting service.

• Recommend adjustments to credit limits based on payment histories.

• Determine approved credit limits within established guidelines and consult with the credit manager for exceptions.

• Keep track of accounts receivable and monitor cash receipt reports.

• Perform additional related duties as necessary.
