The Panel Builder is responsible for assembling, installing, and testing electrical control panels according to engineering specifications and industry standards. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, wiring panels, and ensuring that all components are securely and accurately installed. This 1st shift role works in the Panel Shop of our main building to assemble electrical panels that are later installed to run our water filtration equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality

• Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence

• Assembles or tests electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.

• Will assemble all variations of in house standard products, as well as complex custom products

• Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, NEC and UL codes/standards

• Uses simple hand or power tools along with complex jigs and fixtures

• Enter work hours in ERP system (SAP)

• Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.

• Will be reading complex schematics, ladder diagrams and point to point drawings.

• Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or equivalent

• 1-2 years relevant experience required

• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics, ladder diagrams and point to point drawings

• Proficient in the use of hand tools (Will need to provide your own tools)

Salary range:

$39,500.00 - $63,000.00
