KEY Personnel Certified Operator NEEDED in Holland, Michigan
A leading contract manufacturer of deep draw metal stampings located in Zeeland is looking for a temp to hire Certified Operator.
Operator Role
- Must have successful completion of Shop Math & SPC training (through an accredited institution)
- Ability to operate a pendant crane (certified preferred)
- Perform assigned in-process and final inspections
- Monitor product using the work station equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, rings and plugs to insure that quality products are being produced
- Generate and maintain quality documents in a neat and orderly manner
- Measure and inspect parts according to the Operator Inspection Instruction
- Support and assist production as necessary or required
- Make decisions concerning the production or shipment or nonconforming product
- Generate "Hold" tags to identify nonconforming or suspect product
- Gather paperwork, SPC data, and gauges necessary for upcoming production jobs
- Comply with procedures, safety standards, and housekeeping practices by keeping work area clean, safe and organized
