Algae Production Technicians interact with other production team members and quality assurance to\ maximize production output, efficiency, quality and safety. They participate as team members in an\ algae production environment at our production site on the Old US Highway 66, about 12 miles east\ of Holbrook. Duties include operating and maximizing efficiency of our proprietary photo-bioreactors,\ loading nutrients, troubleshooting, plumbing, preventative maintenance and cleaning activities using\ powered equipment, quality inspections and data recording. Team members sustain bio-factory\ cleantech operations to ensure safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).\ Key responsibilities:\ Maximize bio-factory equipment performance.\ Apply process improvement techniques, tools and procedures.\ Use preventative maintenance to sustain bio-factory equipment operation.\ Troubleshoot equipment issues, make basic repairs and document adjustments.\ Produce ultra-clean algae biomass with optimum yield.\ Focus on safe work practices and quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency.\ Adhere to cleantech standards and good manufacturing practices (GMP).

Must be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate.\ Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.\ Must be a steady, reliable worker.\ Must be hands-on.\ Must be able to read and use manuals and diagrams.\ Must be able to solve problems and make decisions independently and in team settings.\ Must have solid written and verbal communication skills.\ Must be highly motivated and self-directed.\ Must have good interpersonal skills and be a team player.\ Prior experience in production operations or equipment maintenance preferred.\ Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools.\ Ability to stand, crouch, and climb ladders and perform various types of manual labor.\ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.\ Vision (with correction) sufficient for reading, performing inspections and repairs.
