RESPONSIBILITIES: Work in a fast-paced team environment developing modules for wireless communications applications. Job responsibilities include multi-layer module design, transmit and receive line up analysis, optimal matching design to minimize insertion loss using multilayer laminate, application circuit design, defining requirements and interfacing with PA designer, BAW/SAW filter designers, CMOS and SOI designers and integrating components in module and evaluation of RF modules. The position will interface with product engineering to improve yields and help introduce new products to manufacturing. Simulation tools such as Agilent ADS, AWR Microwave Office and HFSS will be used for design and Module laminate. Act as liaison between design engineering, product engineering and characterization engineering to ensure designs are robust and have margin for high volume production. Responsible for all aspects of circuit design and product development, including working as a technical leader with team to find optimum solutions to the problems, feedback on specification and customer interaction, assigning work responsibility to RF technicians. Work on Test benches including Sig Gen, Spec An, Power Meter, VNA and probe-station to test and evaluate modules. QUALIFICATIONS: ADS, AWR RF and HFSS EM simulation experience is required. 5+ years of experience in RF semiconductors is must, laminate experience desirable. Must be an expert in RF circuit design. Excellent speaking, presentation skills a must, ability to clearly communicate technical and/or logistic issues and solutions. Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products. Must be experienced with RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers. Be able to enjoy working in fast paced work environment.
