Actalent Construction Supervisor in Herrin, Illinois

Job Description

We're seeking an experienced construction superintendent for our community solar projects across Illinois. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and administrative duties on site. These tasks include reporting directly to the Construction Manager with daily progress and safety updates, coordinating with sub vendors and foremen, enforcing safety and regulatory policies, setting productivity standards, developing and maintaining a 3-week look-ahead schedule, and coordinating equipment deliveries with our logistics team. Note that overtime is not common in this role and must be approved by the supervisor.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position near Herrin, Illinois.

Work Environment

The work environment is a solar construction site with a company trailer. On any given day, you can expect to collaborate with a number of electrical and civil sub-contractors. Dress code is construction attire- jeans and t-shirt, with proper PPE required.
