Job Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development of the Mission Systems, Engineering & Technology (MSET) Group, this Director of Capture Management will be a key member of the team and will participate in strategic growth initiatives. This person will drive / support the capture process on designated pursuits, ensuring complete capture readiness, to include selected writing assignments as a component of written proposal submissions.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage on plans and activities for business development to increase revenue, growth, and profit in support of long-term strategy and business objectives.

  • Leveraging the skillsets of team(s) to ensure complete capture process alignment including: customer contact, win strategy development, competitive intelligence, and gap analysis.

  • Present status of captures at required meetings and progress the opportunities through specified milestones in the capture process.

  • Lead and facilitate win strategy development sessions including technical, management, teaming, past performance, staffing, pricing, etc.

  • Lead the development of customer hot buttons, including customer needs and concerns.

  • Interface with industry peers and recommend teaming arrangements.

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through networking and professional events.

  • Develop/implement winning strategies and narrative that highlight strengths and mitigate weaknesses.

  • Lead interdisciplinary teams with varying levels of experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of capture experience focused on leading and driving single-award prime captures.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading capture teams on pursuits over $50M.

  • Strong presentation and proposal writing skills.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Federal procurement process.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Ability to travel up to 20 percent of the time, or as business dictates.

  • Security Clearance preferred.
