Amazon Devices is one of the most innovative and fastest-growing businesses at Amazon. This role sits within Devices Brand Studio, the internal creative partner for Amazon Devices. We handle brand strategy, brand design, visual design, copywriting, and production for Echo/Alexa, E-Reader, Tablets, FireTV, Smart Home, and more.

We are looking for a candidate who can manage creative projects, maintain (internal) cross functional relationships and identify and implement process efficiencies along the way. This role requires a combination of in-the-weeds project management, problem solving, and strong communication. A track record of on-time delivery of creative projects, the ability to operate independently and autonomously, coupled with earning business partner trust are keys to the success of this role.

Key job responsibilities

To be successful in this role, the candidate will be able to manage multiple large-scale projects, own schedules, outline key milestones, and communicate project status while identifying process improvements. Most of the projects will be Amazon Events that require branding integration, CGI, creation of assets through automation tools, use of style guides, onsite/digital and retail experience. This a more tactical PM role, where the project/program strategy will come from a more senior Creative Program Lead, and the ideal candidate will be able to align with various stakeholders and execute the planning, while complying with deadlines and remove obstacles to achieve the desired outcome.

On this role, you will be responsible for:

· Intake business requests from your partner teams and oversee the production process until the final delivery.

· Determine priority for each request and request the resources needed to drive projects to successful completion.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for all ongoing projects. Work closely with design leads, art directors, designers, marketing partners and resource managers to proactively clarify requirements and use cases, actively seeking clarification when there is ambiguity.

· Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs when needed, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.

· Work across teams to create strong relationships with stakeholders and leadership teams.

· Communicate project status with design team and stakeholders regularly.

· Put repeatable and scalable processes in place that help the team plan and manage multiple launches happening at the same time.

From the start, they engage with various stakeholders, spanning different teams and levels of approval, to gather insights, align objectives, and seek approvals. Navigating through ambiguity is a constant, as they untangle diverse perspectives and reconcile conflicting priorities. They meticulously synthesize requests and requirements from multiple sources, ensuring cohesion and alignment with project goals. They orchestrate communication, seamlessly bridging gaps between teams and facilitating smooth workflows. Their day is marked by juggling timelines, negotiating compromises, and fostering consensus, all with a solid focus on driving the project towards a successful launch.

Devices Brand Studio is the internal creative partner for Amazon Devices & Services teams. We work across the complete portfolio of devices and services, including Echo, Fire TV, Alexa, E-Reader, Smart Home, and other emerging product lines. With our cross-category and cross-disciplinary POV, we're able to raise the customer-experience bar everywhere our devices show up in the world.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience.

• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.

• Ability to communicate project risks, project status, and results to business stakeholders and senior leadership.

• Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience driving process improvement.

• Experience working specifically with creative and marketing teams to deliver design, strategy, and digital marketing assets.

• Experience owning and delivering program strategy end-to-end.
