We are looking for a Sr. Human Resources Generalist to play a key role in supporting employees and organizational objectives. The Sr. HR Generalist will manage various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and policy development. This role requires a hands-on practitioner with strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices and employment laws. Responsibilities include:
Manage all pre-hire and post-hire onboarding activities for employees, conduct Orientation for all full-time and part-time employees.
Manage the talent acquisition process including posting positions, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial interviews for full-time employees.
Manage employee data in ADP Workforce Now
Manage the offboarding process for full-time and part-time employees
Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and issue resolution. Audit benefit invoices and deductions.
Support performance management by providing guidance on goal setting, coaching, performance improvement plans, and corrective actions.
Support bi-weekly payroll processing as needed
Assist in facilitating any workers’ compensation claims
Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues.
Oversee employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and conducting investigations as needed.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to maintain a positive work environment.
Collaborate with leadership to enhance employee engagement and retention initiatives through team building activities and events
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or experience in lieu of a degree
5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or generalist role; recruiting experience required
Experience with childcare licensing
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Benefits
Salary Range: $58k - $63k
