Job Position: Responsible for process, quality system, and related continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across the manufacturing and warehousing operations; working with the companys suppliers / vendor partners to improve costs, quality and service related to raw materials and operating supplies; leading continuous improvement events, teaching CI tools, leading CI activities across the operations department, and occasionally in other areas of the business. Additional duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Participate in daily management (DM) and drive immediate Root Cause Analysis and Countermeasures by working closely with employees.
• Reduce costs by eliminating waste in all areas of operations, including manufacturing, warehousing, and other areas as assigned.
• Ensure standard work and other process documents are followed, maintained, and improved.
• Assist VP of Operations and Sr. Staff with improvement projects and Strategy Deployment items. Lead SD action plans from time to time.
• Assist team leaders in problem-solving and improvement projects as assigned.

Number of Employees Supervised and Job Titles: None Minimum Requirements: Education:

• Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• 2 years experiencein job offered or related (experience can be pre- or post-Masters Degree)

Skills:

• Industrial Engineering Principles: Process Optimization, Continuous Improvement/LEAN, time and motion studies and other relevant techniques.
• Electronic Resource Planning Systems (ERP) - Developing and sustaining Bills of Material, Routings and tabulating standard costing of manufactured products.
• Engineering Project Management (not people), including planning, organizing and justifying capital purchases (CAPEX).

Technology: AutoCAD, Solidworks, Simulation Software, Electronic Work Instruction creation and management. [Tools: Value Stream Mapping, Lean Layout Planning, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, PDCA, Line Balancing, Error Proofing, Data Analysis]{times="" new="" roman",="" serif;="" font-size:="" 12pt;"=""}

• Identifying material handling equipment, tooling requirements to increase efficiency and productivity, safety, and ergonomics.
• Supplier Quality Management for domestic and overseas suppliers of raw materials.
