AWARE seeks to provide opportunities for employees to grow professionally through its tuition advancement program, professional development opportunities and in-house trainings.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:AWARE’s Community Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) is part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for planning and coordinating care and services to meet individual needs of clients with substance abuse issues under an established curriculum.The LAC must be licensed or working towards licensure. Makes intervention suggestions to other members of the support team and performs as the lead member of an inter-disciplinary team. Responds, as a clinical professional, to all calls originated from AWARE's Emergency/Crisis Response System.
