Landmark Implement Inc Mobile Commercial Application Technician in Hebron, Nebraska
Purpose: Independently performs complex on-site diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on commercial customer application equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the CAD Application Support Specialist and Location Service Manager.
Responsibilities:
Year around priority on Commercial Application Support
Performs complex on-site diagnostics and repairs on application and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products
Travel assigned territory making contacts with commercial operators and locations
Develop and implement staff training on commercial application equipment, repair, and service
Participates in required Service EDUCATE Training programs
Supports customer clinics
Review and explain any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly with the customer and document on work order
May promote and sell dealer service programs directly to customers
May establish and implement effective stocking processes with the Parts Department to maintain the proper seasonal parts inventory in mobile service vehicle
Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and Hagie applicators and competitive products
Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment
Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties
Will fill in as Advanced or Master Service Technician as business need dictate per season
May require partnering with customers to find and utilize customer shops to perform services for their machines
Qualifications
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:
Required to be a Select Technician to support afterhours
Four plus years of experience performing service repairs
Demonstrated knowledge of Commercial Application equipment
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to perform complex repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and commercial application equipment
Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
Advanced or Master Service Technician certification preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate degree preferred
Valid driver’s license required; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred
Forklift license preferred
