About th is role :

We are seeking an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our highly skilled group at Heber Valley Women's Health. We are a team of two OB/GYN physicians and one nurse practitioner, supported by competent, friendly office and clinic staff.

Located on campus of Heber Valley Hospital, a beautiful facility surrounded by incredible mountain-views. As an OB/GYN Hospitalist, you'll serve on our LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, & Postpartum) Unit, which is well-loved for it's design and experienced, tenured staff. We deliver patients at 35 weeks gestation and greater.

  • Primary responsibility is to be immediately available to address any urgent or emergent need that should arise on our LDRP Unit while on shift.

  • This position will include opportunities to support GYN patients and surgeries such as D&Cs, ruptured ectopics, ovarian torsion, etc. while on shift. An interest in doing so and maintaining your GYN skillset is valued.

  • With our manageable delivery volumes, this OB/GYN Hospitalist will provide care in clinic when scheduled on a weekday shift.

  • Schedule will include an average of 7 24-hour shifts per month.

  • Maternal Fetal Medicine & Neonatologists available 24/7 for virtual consult.

  • This position includes a  $30,000  sign-on bonus, and up to $20,000  in relocation assistance.

What you’ll bring:

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in OB/GYN

  • Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license, or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license

  • U.S. ACGME Residency

  • Competency across full scope of obstetric and gynecological practice.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification

  • Federal DEA Registration II-V

About Heber City

Heber City is nestled in Utah's Wasatch Mountains a short drive from Salt Lake City and adjacent to Park City. The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$7.25 - $999.99
