Summary of the Harvest Scale Operator position:
- Location: Hayland, Nebraska
- Schedule: Varying shifts 6-7 days a week
- Schedule: Seasonal position during harvest to start early September
- Pay: $16/hour + mileage if commuting 15+ miles
Responsibilities of the Harvest Scale Operator:
- Operate the grain scale weighing and grading inbound and outbound grain
- Conduct tests on grain and collect samples using grain probe
- Utilize moisture tester and other equipment as needed
- Complete paperwork accurately and on time
- Provide assistance to customers and answer incoming calls
Qualifications for the Harvest Scale Operator position:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary
- Prior experience in agriculture or related field is a plus but not required
