How You'll Help Us Be Successful:
Coordinate workload schedule to meet customer time frame requirements while achieving optimum productivity Reads and understands job tickets to guarantee the correct product is produced to quality standards and specifications Works closely with Customer Service as a team to ensure quality output Completes quality checks and tests to ensure the product meets all physical and visual requirements Work closely with other team members to exceed customer expectations Operate the HP Indigo digital press print machines, 7k series Identifies and selects correct substrates used for the specific jobs Makes decisions regarding quality, color control, and color standards Continually monitor print work as it is printed. Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment. Responsible for troubleshooting equipment, making minor adjustments, completing basic repairs, as well as preventive maintenance Immediately bring any quality issues and/or problems to the attention of the supervisor or lead. Operates material handling equipment to move loads in and out of the work area Complete necessary paperwork and records Maintain a clean orderly work area Perform other related duties as assigned by manager The ability to work 12-hour shifts opportunities for overtime (OT paid after 40 hours per week) Weekend availability during our peak season is a must.
What You'll Need To Be Successful: High School diploma or equivalent work experience Knowledge of printing industry a plus Strong organizational, and time management skills Good communication skills, both written and verbal Experience with printing material inspections and reports High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines Ability to quickly identify production problems and ability to identify quality problems Energetic, dependable and a reliable team player Ability to follow directions, safety standards and be on-call for emergency situations Willing to work overtime as required, occasionally on short notice Ability to tolerate being exposed to loud noises and moving machinery
