Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's finance team. This role is responsible for managing invoice processing, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Match invoices to purchase orders and verify approvals

• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Prepare and execute payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers

• Maintain vendor records and update payment details as needed

• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting

• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues promptly

• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
