Summary of the Utility Laminator position:
- Location: Hastings, Nebraska
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 4 PM
- Pay: $19/hour
- Job Type: Temporary-to-permanent
As a Utility Laminator, you will support the laminator operator and die cut laminator operator by feeding printed sheets into a Nobetec Laminator. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure the production of superior corrugated cartons.
Responsibilities of the Utility Laminator:
- Perform preventive maintenance including greasing and oiling machinery.
- Prepare printed sheets and laminating equipment for production.
- Determine the appropriate amount of glue to be used.
- Check the quality of printing and gluing and ensure proper registration of printed sheets.
- Manually stack finished materials after lamination.
- Maintain cleanliness of machinery and surrounding area.
- Keep accurate records and complete all required forms.
- Use various measuring devices and applicable gauges accurately.
- Follow all procedures and recommend system improvements as identified.
Qualifications for the Utility Laminator position:
- High school diploma or GED with one year of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong preference for candidates with manufacturing machine experience.
- Ability to read and interpret information in various formats.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
