JOB SUMMARY

Marriott’s Global Workplace Services team is looking for an experienced Senior Technology Product Manager that can plan and drive the strategy and execution of multiple security enhancements to our endpoint platforms to ensure that they are user-centric, durable, and well-designed to balance security requirements and the user experience.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Required:

Experience and Education

  • 7+ years of progressive Information Technology experience that includes:

  • 4+ years of technology product management and/or strategy experience that includes technical product road-mapping

  • 4+ years experience in product/software development, including design, development, implementation and maintenance

  • 1+ years developing written communications and presentations for diverse stakeholders including executives, business stakeholders and IT teams

  • 2+ years’ project management experience with demonstrated understanding of project management techniques and tools

  • 2+ years’ Agile delivery experience

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Software Development or equivalent experience and certifications

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a geographically diverse cross functional team supporting one of the following: Collaboration technologies such as Teams, Skype, Office Productivity, Windows Desktops, Virtual Desktops, Azure.

  • 5+ years of experience designing and executing security hardening standards for O365 tools and or VDI desktops ex. CIS, NIST, etc..

  • 5+ years of experience designing and executing patch management standards for collaboration tools, Office Productivity and Virtual Desktops

  • 5+ years of experience managing third party and contract labor.

  • Product management experience leading or managing platforms within a large, global organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate effectively in a matrix-managed environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences including executives, business stakeholders, and other IT teams.

  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to define technology product roadmaps and operate effectively across multiple priorities.

  • Ability to understand and navigate complex user and technical discussions, architectures, and dependent solutions.

  • Experience leading integrations with one or more of the following tools: Service Now, Saviynt, Azure Virtual Desktops, O365 and VMware Horizon

  • Working knowledge of O365 Security, Collaboration tools, Office Productivity, Virtual Desktops, Management Tools, and Processes like: Active Directory, Azure, Azure Virtual Desktops, VMware Horizon, Aternity FPI, Service Now, and SplunkDemonstrated experience with Design Thinking

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Lead a cross-functional agile delivery team responsible for architecting, designing, and managing the delivery of hardening standards, vulnerability remediation, and patch management for collaboration, office productivity and virtual desktop services.

  • Establish product roadmaps, multi-year plans, and user stories.

  • Manage risks, remediation plans, and other security related activities for responsible platforms.

  • Act as the main point of contact for the delivery of hardening and patch management standards to collaboration, office productivity and virtual desktop services within Marriott.

  • Conduct periodic reviews of capabilities and emerging technologies to ensure that Marriott has the right platforms to support end user experience monitoring and remote control.

  • Collaborate with key partners and vendors to create alignment on roadmaps, use cases, capabilities, and product offerings.

  • Leveraging Agile SAFE and Design Thinking, empathize and define requirements, asks, and requests; and evaluate/incorporate them against/into an app strategy and roadmap.

  • Ideate and prototype with engineering partners and vendors to deliver on the app strategy and roadmap.

  • Own the backlog, team management, and delivery of responsible platforms.

  • Advocate for the end user by developing a deep empathy of their needs through research, feedback, and other methods.

  • Meet regularly with security, stakeholders, and other team(s) to gather work statuses, discuss obstacles, provide guidance to ensure that deliverables are met timely and within budget.

  • Foresees, identifies, and resolves problems.

  • Keeps up-to-date technically and applies new knowledge to job.

Performs other reasonable duties as required for this position.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $209,169 annually.

Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $190,154 annually.

Hawaii Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $116,205 to $209,169 annually.

New York Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $209,169 annually.

Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $209,169 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
