This position will be a key player within the Compliance department by providing an in-depth audit of medical billing claims. Our client works a hybrid work schedule (3 days REMOTE per week) and offers stellar benefits. This position would likely travel once or twice a quarter to the surrounding states (MD, DE, NJ, NY, CT, OH), which is completely covered by the cleint. Responsibilities

  • Maintains a thorough understanding and interpretation of regulations, licensing

  • requirements and agreements that may impact billing for services.

  • Actively promotes compliance at all levels of the organization.

  • Conducts research, gathers information, and analyzes a variety of data.

  • Performs documentation audits and reviews to assess compliance and identify non-

  • compliance issues and organizational risk.

  • Provides recommendations to management and leadership for plans of correction.

  • Partners with internal stakeholders to assess and analyze audit findings to determine root

  • causes of identified non-compliance issues and corrective action plans.

  • Evaluate the quality of documentation to support service delivery.

  • Collaborates with operations management and leadership to develop processes that

  • support quality improvement.

  • Maintains and manages data and files related to audits and compliance issues.

  • Educates employees on billing and documentation requirements and standards.

  • Prepares audit summaries and reports for distribution to internal or external

  • stakeholders.
