DESCRIPTION OF WORK The role of section manager in the Risk Management Office (RMO) involves overseeing the Investigations and Fraud Prevention Section, as well as handling data requests. The incumbent must possess a comprehensive understanding of motor vehicle and driver licensing laws, regulations, procedures, and PennDot's computer systems. Their responsibilities include analyzing data from the Investigations and Fraud Prevention Section to identify risks and potential fraud, and providing recommendations to mitigate fraud. They also collaborate with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles Inspection Division and Dealer Audit Unit for investigations and audits. Additionally, the Section Manager serves as a backup for the Records Management Liaison in the RMO and may testify in court proceedings on behalf of the Department.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. One year as an Administrative Officer 1. or Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
