DESCRIPTION OF WORK Using current data and research, you will actively support our community partners in implementing powerful prevention strategies for chronic disease, injury, and violence. As part of your role, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing and accurately processing invoices. You will need to stay current with budget principles and guidelines and understand how they impact the submission of invoices. In addition, you will assist in preparing contractual documents and budgets. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the Administrative Officer to diligently prepare, approve, track, and renew contractual documents to ensure smooth business operations. This position offers the opportunity to delve into health program data on diabetes and obesity, develop reports, inform public health program administrators, and oversee activities for Organ Donation Advisory Committee meetings.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. You will be expected to report to the office one day per month, currently the third Thursday, or as needed or as directed by your supervisor. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
