    What you will be doing?

    The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for observing client behaviors, recording their conditions, and leading them to therapeutic and recreational activities. Techs will work various shifts and will provide overall supervision of the clients in the facility.

    What tasks are required?

  • Conducting observations and documenting client’s activities, behavior, and progress, while maintaining a therapeutic client milieu.

  • Operates as the primary client liaison to facilitate a cohesive client experience.

  • Enters client information into EMR database as directed, and relays client issues/concerns to members of the treatment team in a timely manner.

  • Maintains timely and accurate documentation of client interactions.

  • Provide routine, practical, real-world support in coping with life’s day to day demands through modeling and coaching approaches to substance use recovery support based on an established individualized treatment plan.

  • Ability to explain and complete admissions process with incoming clients including searches, Urine Drug Screen, Breathalyzer, client tours and initial client orientation.

  • Maintain a professional and courteous image and promotes a healthy recovery environment.

  • Escorts clients to various activities throughout the center and on outings.

  • Performs general housekeeping functions.

  • Positively promotes BriteLife Recovery at Hanover to prospective clients and employees.

  • Job Type: FULL TIME

  • High School Diploma

  • Preferred, Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS), or willingness to pursue

  • Valid Driver's License
