Need 3 full time temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Hancock, MN. From: 02/03/2024 to 12/02/2024 Work: 65 hrs./week, Mon. -Fri. 12hrs./day, Sat. 5hrs./day. 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. ESST Law: Effective 01/01/2024. JOB DESCRIPTION: Workers will operate 280-600hp farm machinery to till, plant, spray, cultivate, and harvest corn and bean crops. Workers will maintain and repair equipment and facilities. Work includes exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements. A worker can earn bonuses and/or wage increases based on performance and length of service with the employer, this benefit is at the sole discretion of the employer. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 months experience, and tech or GPS navigation experience is helpful. Must be physically able to regularly lift 50 lbs., climb and check grain bins, and have no fear of heights. No smoking is allowed on property or housing. Drug screens will be conducted upon accident or incident and will be at the cost of the employer. Failure or refusal of the drug test is grounds for immediate termination. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
