Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center Consumer Support Worker- Hamilton - Full Time in Hamilton, Alabama
A Consumer Support Worker will provide Level III tasks as assigned. Maintain face-to-face contact with clients at least quarterly. Provide appropriate billable services as indicated on the current treatment plan. Verify compliance with MD/CRNP appointments. Verify medication compliance. Evaluate clients for an increase in symptoms and stressors. Recommend referrals to appropriate programs/staff. Conduct urine drug screens on clients and/or employees as requested. Maintain Level III client files and documents. Prepare outpatient client information for MD/CRNP. Provide backup for the front desk as requested, and perform other duties as assigned. Paid job training is provided.
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma/GED (or transcripts) from a state-accredited school /source; experience working in the mental health field is preferred.
- A current/valid non-expired driver's license. This position requires driving; you must be a minimum age of 21 and have an insurable driving record.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and use of computer software and programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and type 40+ wpm.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, driver required.
