Marketing Lead (d/f/m) DePuy Synthes for Trauma, CMF and Power Tools

with place of residence in Germany close to Norderstedt/Hamburg or Umkirch/Freiburg

As the Marketing Lead, you will play a crucial role in capturing insights and translating them into viable solutions for our customers. Your responsibilities will include developing compelling brand strategies, ensuring consistent implementation across Germany, and driving the execution of managed platforms. You will also be responsible for managing critical processes related to business planning, market research, and multi-channel marketing.

To succeed in this role, you must have proven experience in successfully implementing world-class product launches and developing comprehensive marketing plans. You should be able to accurately assess market opportunities and work with Sales Management to prepare and capture innovative solution offerings. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as you will be collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and representing the needs of Germany within the region.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage market insights to develop compelling brand strategies in Germany

  • Ensure consistent implementation of global/EMEA strategies for Trauma in Germany

  • Ensure strong alignment with EMEA`s strategic priorities and DPS Trauma Franchise imperatives as well as responsible for driving execution of managed platforms across Germany

  • Coordinate critical processes related to business planning, market research, and multi-channel marketing

  • Implement world-class product launches, ensuring strategic alignment and adherence to the LEX framework

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to achieve business goals

  • Assess market opportunities and collaborate with Sales Management to capture innovative solutions

  • Identify customer insights and market trends to enhance marketing strategy and business results

  • Manage brands effectively and with a strong understanding of business strategies

  • Transforming feedback from various sources into effective strategies for sustainable business growth.

  • Coordinate forecast and demand plan from a business standpoint

  • Cultivate a Marketing Team that embraces diversity and exhibits a range of effective work behaviors.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in marketing roles, preferably in the healthcare industry

  • In-depth knowledge of the German healthcare or MedTech environment, specifically in the Trauma field

  • Market development or value/demand creation through experience with customer and market insights or through experience in marketing or other critical functions (e.g. sales, operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Pricing, etc.)

  • Strong collaboration and inclusive leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and groups

  • Able to work in a matrix organization and work collaboratively with EMEA Franchise and local stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior management

  • Proven track record of successfully driving action and achieving results through influence, even without direct reporting lines

  • Ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions

  • Big picture orientation with attention to detail, able to see the why as well as the what, and make strategic decisions accordingly

  • Results driven – set the pace for the team to deliver on stretch initiatives

  • Fluent in both German and English
