What does a successful Program Director do at Fiserv?

As a Program Director at Fiserv, you will leverage your extensive expertise to lead and drive complex projects to successful completion, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations. You will play a critical role in turning conceptual ideas into executable plans, providing strategic guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle. With a focus on delivering high-quality FinTech solutions, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and oversee project execution, demonstrating our commitment to excellence.

What you will do:

  • Lead complex projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations and business objectives.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide clear communication to stakeholders on project progress and any potential issues.

  • Identify and resolve project risks and issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.

  • Monitor project performance, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Provide strategic guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and industry best practices.

  • Drive continuous improvement by conducting post-project evaluations and implementing lessons learned.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.

  • 9+ years of experience in project management, leading complex projects in the FinTech industry.

  • 8+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • 10+ years of experience with project management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

  • PMP certification or similar recognized project management certification.

What would be great to have:

  • 8+ years of experience in managing projects related to financial services and technology solutions.

  • Expertise in utilizing project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis to drive project decisions.

  • Advanced knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies in project management.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
