Job Title: Powertrain Integration Engineer

Job Description

Actalent is seeking a Powertrain Systems Engineer to help perform engineering work to integrate engine and powertrain components/systems into existing and new mobile, heavy-duty, off-highway equipment. Collaborate with multiple teams and vendors to ensure proper application of engines, engine cooling, exhaust, power take-off, vibration isolation, and driveline components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related

• Previous design experience in internal combustion engines or engine systems

• Experience in vibration analysis and vibration isolation design

• Experience with a high-level CAD system

• Exposure to / experience with vehicle control systems and their associated software

• Familiarity with CAN bus communication messages and principles (plus)
