Role & Responsibility

APAC Key Account within Display Materials Solutions Division (DMSD), Global R&D is a team of application engineers working across the important Korean Key Accounts for DMSD business. Key Account technical organization is to build our future pipeline of new products and applications. At the same time, the team delivers spec-in products to customers’ NPI programs with challenging timelines and high expectations.

Key deliverables include OCA (Optically Clear Adhesive), optical films, and other novel functional materials for display applications from small to large size devices.

• Application engineer working closely with customers and DMSD cross-functional teams.

• Primary focus is on OCA and optical films for Korean companies producing display panels and integrated systems.

• Drives growth through customer collaboration, new application development, and new product commercialization, extensions of new and existing technologies or products.

• Contributions may include successful project completion, customer support during new product commercialization, including developing data packages or user information, and/or increased customer satisfaction via technical troubleshooting or support.

• Provides technical insights to new product development, product modification, technology development, process development.

• Coordinates and leads field trials with customers and provides field support for major customers while developing a strong interaction with commercial functions.

• Analyzes and interprets results of customer trials and recommends and develops solutions for technical and product problems.

• 성공적인 프로젝트 완료, 데이터 패키지 또는 사용자 정보 개발을 포함한 신제품 상용화 중 고객 지원 및 기술 문제 해결을 통한 고객 만족도 향상을 목표

• 신제품 개발, 제품 수정, 기술 개발, 프로세스 개발에 대한 기술적 통찰력 제공 및 제안

• 고객과의 평가 계획을 논의하며 주요 고객에 대한 전략적 협업 관계를 구축

  Qualification

• BS or MS or higher degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering

• Experiences in related industry for minimum 3 years is strongly preferred.

• In-depth technical knowledge to provide expertise, support, and services to external customers

• Clear communication skill with cross-functional colleagues and customers is required.

• Collaboration with colleagues and customers to innovate, influence, and/or negotiate when required.

• Fluent in English

• 유관 관련 분야 3년 이상 근무 경력 보유자

• 내외부 고객과 협업할 수 있는 깊이 있고 포괄적인 기술적 지식 보유자

• 업무상 한국어 / 영어에 능통한 자
