Summary:

Amazon is a highly data driven company highly passionate about its customers. In this context it is vital to ensure customers always get their orders on time and with quality. The processes at the FCs are largely manual involving large numbers of associates. One of the most critical roles is that of a process associates who mentor/guide the associates towards ensuring meeting the customer expectation by following our standard work practice keeping safety & quality in mind.

Job Deliverables:

o Daily Management of shift

o Administrative management of associates

o Job allocation to associates

o Monitoring and mentoring of associates on

productivity, quality and safety.

o Track and report labor hours

o Monitor status of counts and problem solve queues

o Understand workflow and daily production goals

o Responsible for shift quality and associated action plans

o Ensure successful shift performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback on associate performance

o Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives

o Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates

o Review and update SOP and standard work checklist as required

o Conduct a 4M and 5S audit for the respective work stations on a daily basis

o Identify and address safety hazards within the work area

o Stand-in for Area Manager

Key job responsibilities

A self-motivated person with the ability to motivate the associates.

Good people management skills.

1-5 yrs experience in warehouse operations

Good analytical and problem solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel

Experience of Amazon or similar systems.

1-5 yrs of experience in managing a process and people as a lead.

Able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach with or without reasonable accommodation

Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Basic Qualifications

  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of manufacturing or customer-facing environment experience
