This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.

• Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.

• Working closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.

• Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.

• Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders and resolve technical issues as necessary.

• Keeping abreast of new technology developments and Complete bug fixes.

Requirements

• Have proficiency with data manipulation languages and understanding of data modeling principles.

• Able to work with complex data models and proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: XML, XSLT, Python.

• Able to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.

• Have experience in software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and to complete moderately complex bug fixes.

• Good oral and written communications skills.
