Primary Responsibilities:
Provide analysis and support on business segment and corporate C&B projects
Assist the India Total Rewards team in implementing business segment compensation strategies, policies, programs
Participate in multiple compensation projects
Independently lead moderately complex projects with only minor oversight
Provide People Business Partners with information regarding compensation related policies, programs, etc.
Conduct analysis for compensation programs/policies such as salary ranges and salary increase budget and make recommendations
Participate in annual market compensation benchmarking surveys conducted by third parties
May work with selected vendors to facilitate custom surveys on behalf of Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses
Evaluate new jobs for appropriate title and grade
Respond on compensation related questions or issues
Develop complex queries, reports, and analysis to meet customer requests
Ensure compensation design and processes are integrated with delivery of other Total Rewards processes and programs
Support the compensation review process aligned to business and company objectives
Strive to continuously improve compensation processes
Drive project-oriented compensation changes as needed
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
Master’s in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resources or related filed
10+ years of professional Human Resources or equivalent compensation experience
Experience in salary survey participation, market data analysis, job evaluation, salary range analysis, and HRIS reporting
Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
Proven ability to quickly build relationships and gain credibility with stakeholders
Demonstrated analytical and project management skills
Proven ability to work effectively within teams and across the organization
