McDermott IT PMO Process Governance and Operations Administrator in Gurgaon, India
Job Overview:
The IT PMO Process Governance and Operations Administrator is a key role responsible for upholding the integrity and efficacy of the IT Project Management Office (PMO) processes and governance framework. This experienced professional ensures that project management standards are consistently applied across the organization, leading to enhanced project delivery and alignment with corporate objectives. Primary responsibilities will include administratively managing all IT PMO operations and process governance, reporting tasks, as well as test tools administration, and work independently with minimal guidance.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Manage execution of low-complexity projects
Lead the definition of project scope and objectives, involve all relevant stakeholders, and ensure technical feasibility
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Manage detailed project budget
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the streamlined execution of projects
Provide regular updates to the program manager/stakeholders on project status and risks/issues
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and budget
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
Coordinate project execution activities, which include development, implementation, testing, and training plans, and ensure the successful transition to support and maintain teams
Perform risk and issue management to ensure on-time delivery with quality
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field or equivalent work experience PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, L6S certifications is preferred nice to have 3+ years work experience; work experience can be waived with higher than minimum Degree requirement met Demonstrate ability to think strategically and deliver strong execution
Strong organizational, business, and project management skills
Demonstrate ability to innovate and to effectively lead and communicate at all levels
Demonstrate project management skills and ability to deliver results
Ability to quickly identify areas of opportunity, research creative solutions, and implement new processes
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to engage teams and drive change
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
