Job Description Performance Contracting is seeking motivated individuals to join our growing employee-owned organization as a hybrid Associate Project Engineer/ Associate Design Engineer for its PCI Columbus operations based in Columbus, OH. The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI. It's a dynamic position offering hands-on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment. Job responsibilities include: Conduct safety meetings Create and manage punch lists Support the Quality Control Measures outlined in the QA/QC program Prepare RFI's and submittals Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering Support the implementation of the job schedule Coordinate warranties and O&M's Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing Attend kick off meeting with design and or operations staff at beginning of project to ensure Level of Development, scope, project details and contract requirements are understood before modeling begins. Create 3D models utilizing Revit. Actively participate in BIM coordination and design meetings. Execute special projects as assigned. In collaboration with Design and Operations teams, communicate with Engineers, Architects, General Contractors and/or clients to deliver and convert model into install drawings, which will be used by the field for execution of the work. Produce models and drawings that are consistent with instructions, guidelines, in-house standards and Project BIM standards. Requirements Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or Construction Science, or comparable work experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught Customer service skills, such as able to work with customers and build strong relationships Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative Works well under pressure and deadline Preferred Requirements: OSHA Certification Experience with BIM/VDC Interest in relocation to the Columbus, OH area Benefits Performance Contracting Group has developed one of the most attractive and lucrative compensation systems within the construction industry.
