Charter Communications, Inc. in Greenwood Village, CO seeks Systems Engineer IV to design complex application integrations for large-scale cloud test and production environments in Amazon Web Services (AWS), data centers, and hybrid clouds consisting of applications and micro services across software stacks. Define best practices and provide recommendations to upstream engineering and development teams to design, develop, and deploy new services and features into environments using advanced scaling and troubleshooting techniques. Utilize understanding of application requirements and cloud native abilities to provide requirements to operate Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Design and develop tools to optimize deployment and configuration of containerized micros services. Utilize advanced programming to define scaling methods and telemetry to provide services to external and internal customers. Design and perform architectural integration of Kubernetes cluster deployments using customized Kubernetes Operations (KOPS) utility. Orchestrate and oversee application builds and deployments in Jenkins and Maven build tools using custom built scripts. Create filters and monitors for containerized micro services deployed in Kubernetes clusters using customized deployment of Instana. Perform configuration management and application deployments in test and production environments using customized Ansible scripts to facilitate environmental availability. Build processes and reference documentation to resolve complex issues in a self-service fashion to facilitate front line resolution of application issues. Perform application development, including devops pipeline, performing automation and acceptance testing; utilize Network OSS, to perform alarm monitoring, configuring alarm correlation, and responding to alerts utilizing SPLUNK and Datadog; perform systems administration to ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of customer facing applications meet user needs; perform database support and development, including performance, integrity, and security of databases; utilize devops to plan, develop, and troubleshoot databases; and utilize Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) for data flow between applications, to streamline processes and increase data availability.

Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field; 3 years of experience performing application development, including devops pipeline, performing automation and acceptance testing; utilizing Network OSS, performing alarm monitoring, configuring alarm correlation, and responding to alerts utilizing SPLUNK or Datadog; performing systems administration to ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of customer facing applications meet user needs; performing database support and development, including performance, integrity, and security of databases; utilizing devops to plan, develop, and troubleshoot databases; and utilizing Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) for data flow between applications, to streamline processes and increase data availability. A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available.

Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $101,483.
