Job Description:
Apex Systems is looking for to hire a Project Manager/Scrum Master to join a growing client in Greenwood Village, CO
Onsite Requirement: 4 days per week onsite in Greenwood Village, CO
Duration: Long term, open ended contract with the potential for perm hire in the future.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Work within a hybrid Agile/Waterfall Methodology with 2 week sprints, daily stand up 1-2 times a week, retros and PI Planning
Manage the basic function of an Agile framework
Manage multiple projects simultaneously along with the project timeline, executive summaries, and reporting
Will be the Scrum Master/Project Manager for two teams that work on infrastructure initiatives (networking, firewall, load balancing, virtualization, and application delivery)
Responsible for communication, documentation, and facilitation between teams
Responsible for putting together executive leadership reporting/summaries weekly and monthly
Manage project timelines and roadmap in Jira
Experience Required:
3-5+ years of Project Management/Scrum Master experience
Experience managing project timeline, risks, communication, and status reporting
Experience working in both an Agile and Waterfall methodology
Infrastructure project experience - Networking, virtualization, CAS, storage, compute
Telecom experience would be a plus
Experience working with large, cross functional teams
Technical background to be able to translate between technical and non-technical team members and know what questions to ask
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Excellent communication skills
The compensation for this position dependent on experience is between $45-60/hr
