Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly, modifying and building prototype subassemblies and vehicles, and assisting in the completion of prototype builds and assemblies. You will perform minor adjustments, repairs, or setups to equipment or machines, and handle both low voltage (5V-24V) and high voltage (370V) electronics and systems integration.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical and electrical assembly

  • Use of hand and power tools to complete assembly

  • Modifying and building prototype subassemblies and vehicles

  • Assisting in the completion of prototype builds and assemblies

  • Performing minor adjustments, repairs, or setups to equipment or machines

  • Handling low voltage (5V-24V) and high voltage (370V) electronics and systems integration

  • Reading schematics to troubleshoot both low and high voltage systems

  • Using multimeters and high-pot testers

  • Modifying, building, and validating harnesses

  • Wiring and building functional testing equipment as requested by Engineering

  • Lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds

  • Working closely with mechanical and electrical design engineering teams

Work Environment

The work environment is Monday to Friday, from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM. You will be working in a dynamic and innovative setting, contributing to the development of the world’s best-performing zero-emission buses. The role involves hands-on tasks and collaboration with the engineering team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
