Participant must Repair small equipment and vehicles. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the Following: Other duties may be assigned. Observes mechanical devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Dismantles devices to gain assess to and remove defective parts. Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Adjust fuctional parts of devices and control instruments. Repairs or replaces defectives parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricate and clean parts. Starts devices to test their performance. Set up and operates lathes, drill press, grinder and other metal working tools to make and repair parts. Initiates purchase order for parts and machines. Repairs electrical equipment. Performs preventative maintenance.
