- Provide faith-based family therapy.
- Provide trauma-based, CBT, DBT, or treatment modalities when applicable for patients.
- Facilitate group therapy with a focus on evidence-based techniques.
- Write and log case notes and treatment plan reviews for each individual and group session for each assigned patient within two days of session.
- Formulate treatment plan based on individual and family needs.
- Provide regular communication with families to update them on the progress of the patient.
- Participate in treatment team, reporting on assigned patients.
- Collaborate with Honey Lake staff to create an educational and supportive milieu.
- Attend supervision with qualified, licensed supervisor.
- Maintain CEUs if licensed.
- Other duties as assigned by the Adolescent Clinical Director.
[REQUIREMENTS: [Adolescent Therapist should have the following skills, education, and experience:]{cambria",serif"=""}]{cambria",serif"=""}
- Masters or doctorate in mental health counseling (Psychology, MHC, MSW, MFT). Other graduate degrees that lead to MHC licensure are acceptable.
- Licensure is strongly preferred.
- Experience with adolescent psychiatric populations is preferred.
- Experience with Mood-Disorders
- Experience with Family Based Therapy
- Experience with CBT, DBT treatment modalities.
- Meet criminal background check and drug screening per state requirements.
- Must have basic knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint).
