Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in a city in North Carolina. Working within the manufacturing industry, you will be tasked with managing financial records and executing various accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Handle account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations on a regular basis for audit purposes.

• Carry out bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions are accounted for and properly posted.

• Keep track of the general ledger and verify all entries are accurate.

• Prepare journal entries and maintain record for future reference.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

• Oversee month-end close procedures to ensure timely reporting.

• Operate NetSuite for financial management and business operations.

• Utilize Oracle for database management and data retrieval.

• Work with SAP for business operations and customer relations.

Requirements • Proven experience in the staffing and recruitment industry

• Must hold a relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• Extensive knowledge and experience in account reconciliation

• Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation accurately

• Experience in handling bank reconciliations

• Proficiency in using General Ledger for accounting purposes

• Capable of preparing and reviewing journal entries

• Must be adept at using Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions

• Should be able to manage the month-end close process efficiently

• Experience in using NetSuite for accounting processes is essential

• Familiarity with Oracle for managing financial data

• Proficiency in SAP for enterprise resource planning and data management

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
