Description

Are you an experienced accountant looking to advance your career? Join our dynamic team as a Senior Accountant and play a pivotal role in our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead general ledger and monthly closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.

  • Contribute to the development of the annual balance sheet budget.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and assist in annual external audit testing.

  • Implement new controls to align with company procedures.

  • Oversee the preparation of sales and tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Analyze assigned balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting documentation.

  • Support adherence to the company's travel policy.

  • Assist the Controller with high-volume or sensitive accounts.

  • Manage AP/AR activities, internal controls, and asset/capital management.

  • Monitor tax developments and collaborate with the external tax team on annual returns.

  • Accurately develop and enter journal entries into the general ledger.

  • Prepare and analyze financial and non-financial reports.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive change.

  • Manage accounting integration for acquisitions.

  • Respond promptly to internal and external customer requests and resolve issues.

  • Participate in internal and external audits with timely data provision.

    Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

  • Proficient in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.

  • Extensive experience with general ledger management and journal entries.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Expertise in month-end close activities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Knowledge of accounting software and databases.

  • Familiarity with financial regulations and standards.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
