Provide technical support to the Gilbarco Suppler Quality Engineering team, Manufacturing Engineering team, and Manufacturing teams through-out the facility. The individual will properly inspect incoming material per Gilbarco’s specifications, and procedure. The candidate will evaluate conforming and non-conforming materials found at incoming inspection, properly document findings, and test as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Preformed Mechanical and Electronics inspection per drawing specification.

• Screen and sort material per specifications

• Collect and document material data

• Other duties as assigned

• Associate’s (or higher) degree in a technical discipline preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing).

• Knowledge of manufacturing related testing equipment a plus

• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes preferred; plastic forming, milling/turning, sheet metal fabrication, metal/plastic finishing, surface mount & through hole circuit board assembly and instrument assembly.

• Demonstrate the ability to interpret manufacturing drawings

• Working knowledge using Microsoft Excel, creating spreadsheets
