This person will be an integral part of the team working with the Qorvo Business Groups and Business Unit Management to set pricing strategies and identify new pricing opportunities that drive margin growth for the company with both our direct and distribution customers.

Objectives

  • Interface with the business units and product lines assigned to help develop and execute pricing strategies, negotiation plans, and maintain up to date pricing and tools in support of this effort. Support and collaborate with Sales on all pricing and negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Business Units and Product lines to develop and execute pricing strategies tailored to meet their pricing goals.

  • Review and approve price escalations and provide inputs to the pricing strategy based on market trends, product line strategy, and value analysis.

  • Provide analysis of Sales trends including pricing, quotes, discounting behavior, and opportunity execution

  • Research industry, market and competitor trends to effectively position sales proposals to win with maximum profitability.

  • Provide training, methodologies, and guidance on pricing strategy in the market as well as the use of the sales tools.

  • Work with product management to develop and implement product price strategies and price lists for the various markets and channels.

  • Work with the business units to model and set new product pricing

  • Support customer price negotiations across all tiers, through various analysis and dashboards including pricing strategy execution, erosion analysis, TAM, design wins, Q2C, and off invoice services.

  • Identify margin leakage and find ways to increase profits

  • Support corporate audits as necessary

  • Maintain agreed contract pricing

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years in business analytics, business development, sales, or marketing. A background in the semiconductor or similar industry is desired.

  • BA/BS degree in engineering, business, marketing, economics, mathematics, statistics or quantitative methods preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency working in Excel and database software.

  • Solid decision making, problem solving, negotiating and persuasion skills

  • Continuous improvement attitude: ability to seek out and implement internal or external best practices.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Presentation Skills - Ability to prepare and deliver professional presentations to customers.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize workload.

  • Detailed and action-oriented self-starter

  • This position can be located in our Richardson TX or Greensboro NC facilties
