The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Childcare Center Director for its top-rated preschool in Greensboro on Lawndale Drive. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you!
About The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy:
Bright futures start here! The Sunshine House is much more than simply daycare for children 6 weeks to 12-years-old. We help children build a solid educational and social foundation -- with all the fun of childhood mixed in! We are one of the largest early education and childcare companies in the United States, operating more than 100 schools in 8 states.
Salary range: $40,000-$48,000 per year, based on experience, education and credentials. Quarterly bonus potential.
Daycare Center Director Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of childcare school in accordance with state licensing and company policies, including administrative, operational, financial, and logistical functions of the facility.
Hire, engage, and develop a supportive team of caregivers and educators.
Partner with families to provide the best care and education for their children.
Oversee the implementation of our curriculum, including developmentally appropriate play and classroom environments.
Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, and the community.
Requirements
Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field required.
At least two years of previous management experience in licensed childcare required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
