About the position:
We are looking for dynamic Supervisor to oversee our assembly line staff and processes. This is a vital role at the Raymond Corporation where the selected candidate will ensure assembly phases are completed accurately and on time. You will:
- Oversee the day-today operations of a group or groups of employees including the training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and insuring consistent application of organizational policies.
- Provide data and analysis concerning departmental and individual performance.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement changes in methods or procedures.
- Plan and schedule the work in your assigned area for maximum effective utilization of employees, equipment and material within budgetary, cost and quality standards.
- Estimate needs and assign work to meet completion dates in accordance with schedules fixed by business plan, and/or management.
- Conduct performance appraisals, make hiring decisions, and take disciplinary action including termination.
- Foster a safe work environment.
- Arrange for proper maintenance of machines, equipment, and facilities for which responsible.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
About you:
- 2+ years of professional experience in the specified discipline.
It would be great if you had:
- Associates degree in a related field.
- 2 + years of experience in a supervisory/management role.
About the total compensation package:
Salary - $62,300 - $77,500 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
Relocation – This position may qualify for relocation.
