Job Summary: Assist, and provide direction and information to clients, prospect leasing clients, and other guests of the organization. As a Leasing Assistant you are responsible for showing apartments to potential renters, lease apartments to qualified applicants, renew leases with current tenants, and perform managerial duties concerning the property as directed.

Duties/Responsibilities: MUST HAVE PREVIOUS LEASING EXPERIENCE Leasing Commission $$$. No Remote work availability - Office work hours M-F 7am-3:30pm. Required to pass a background and pre-employment test. Warmly greets visitors, prospective renters, and current clients. Determines the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location. Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments. Performs administrative and clerical support tasks. Performs basic filing and recordkeeping. Assists with recordkeeping, filing, bookkeeping, and paperwork as required. Performs other related duties. Back up for receptionist.

Required Skills/Abilities: Outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to make others feel welcome and comfortable. Able to coordinate schedule apartment viewings with potential clients. Organization with scheduling and coordination of maintenance appointments. Excellent interpersonal skills with good sales and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems. Detail-oriented and organized. Professional demeanor. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. At least two years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and standing. Must be able to walk between buildings in all weather conditions, go up/down stairs, give tours, meeting with potential tenants, coordinate and schedule maintenance for property. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
