We currently have a full-time opportunity with our Sawmill Blue Log Yard Team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering Cut–to-Length logs to the Sawmill and unloading log trucks utilizing mobile equipment. This position will report to the Log Yard Team Leader. Shift schedule for this opportunity rotating weekdays (2 weeks days/2 weeks nights). / / /The successful applicant will:/

• Operate and perform PM’s on log handling equipment consisting of mobile equipment.
• Operating shift will be determined based on business needs.
• Complete regular area maintenance (gravel & dirt work, snow removal, de-barker deck & area cleaning, etc.)

/The successful candidates will have demonstrated the following:/

• Behavior consistent with the Safety Vision and Policy and our People Principles.
• Ability to meet all Team Norms and Standards with a clear focus on active participation in the Safety Program.
• Physically able to perform the role.
• Self-motivated with Demonstrated Leadership capabilities.
• Strong aptitude for and experience in Log Handling and or heavy equipment operations.
• Strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to prioritize and learn quickly.
• Preference will be given to current lumber operators with applicable skills.

This role will be administered in the current technician system. The opportunity exists for skill development with the potential to obtain Level D/P2 for these operating positions.
