The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $135,262-$165,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

 

Tasks and Qualifications:

Global leader for SME's (individual contributors) in all regions. Manage timekeeping SAP (North America) and G-Force (Europe) for entire team of SME's. Perform onboarding all regions. Prioritize resources and assign travel for SME team members. Support PSR reporting. Perform forecasting via Project Forecasting Tool (PFT). Provide read across of critical issues to all global sites. Determine, define, and execute training for employees. Comprehend and adhere to labor rules across regions. Drive standard practices for reporting across regions. Review and approve SME reports. Oversee adherence to regional construction and safety codes. Create culture of cooperation with regional teams. Act as critical communication link with German R&D OHS group. Perform regular onsite visits, local and international. Support 2-4 projects simultaneously. Conduct site inspections and deliver reports after each visit. Check "showstopper" of the mechanical and electrical installation (matching current layout and positioning guide). Check overall mechanical installation quality (check of SUP quality control -- most critical points / "Showstopper"). Conduct quality control of sample set-ups. Ensure finalization of open points from each site visit. Support the project teams during the planning phase. Define installation sequencing and align with all interfaces. Define effort for each mechanical installation sequence. Define specification for mechanical and electrical subcontractors. Conduct ETC's (M SME hours and travel costs). Support the regional SUP's. Plan complex reworks and changes. Train Supervisor (how to realize reworks / PB's). Support conduction of the various handover. Ensure conduction mechanical installation activities per plan. Ensure mechanical sample set-ups. Support Quality Communication (RPN, JIRE, CIRS, QA, PB).

 

Requires 6 years' experience as a Project Manager, Site Supervisor, Team Lead, Mechatronics Engineer or closely related occupation. Also requires 2 years' experience with leading PLC and system commissioning of conveyor overhead systems, using SAP, Production Lead Systems, and MS Project; 1 year of experience with RCE, WAMAS, TransLog, SimaticS7F, Pro Tool, Sinamics, and SEW; and 6 months' experience with leading Pouch Sortation Systems installation projects. 75% travel required to various unanticipated locations.
