Summary of Position:
This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to students, faculty, staff, and visitors at the Ferris State University office in Grand Rapids, MI. Serving as the initial point of contact for all individuals visiting the student services office, in-person, online, by email, and over the phone, this position assists with scheduling appointments, registering students for classes, addressing student inquiries, and collaborating with other departments to resolve student issues and concerns. This position is critical in ensuring that students receive the support and guidance they need to navigate their academic experience at Ferris State University successfully. This is a full-time position that operates in an on-site professional office environment. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility to adjust hours and work until 6 pm if needed, as well as occasional evening and weekend hours. The anticipated start date for this position is June 2023. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed.
